First time installer. Have some issues.

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception

I am running on a Windows 2000 SP4 host with DirectX 9.0c and Net Runtime 2.0 with a hotfix I found in another thread. I have a WinTV PVR 150 that I'd like to use. I've tried 1.0.16 and 1.0.08.

You need mdac 2.6 or higher too. Do you have it installed?

You may need a more recent version of Windows Media Player as the one with Win2k is pretty old now.

It would probably be useful to have a full list of dependencies somewhere (preferably in a single list). The "Survival Guide" doesn't quite capture everything. I'm not trying to be picky, since it is a lot of work to do for free. It would just make things a lot easier for people in general. I'm not planning on trying the media player thing, since I've started down the Mythdora route instead. Just an opinion from a fellow developer.
