Hey,

When I change some stuff in the EWA-config, it only gets saved on the machine I changed the settings on.
If I use another machine to access EWA, I get the default settings again.

Any ideas? Smile

Correct......some settings are cookie based which allows you to profile EWA for different devices or PC's rather than using server settings which force a one size fits all.

Which settings are you questioning?

I wanted to change the Minute Span/Interval/Slice. But it's not that big a problem.
I'm just heavily experimenting since I'm new at GB-PVR, so I'm testing it on several pc's, that's how I noticed. Smile

By the way (now that I have your attention Big Grin ), I tried the EWA in XBMC with Linksboks, but it looks like cr*p. Who's to blame for that? :p
I guess Linksboks doesn't support ASP yet?

ASP runs on the server side (ie. on the GBPVR box), so I would have a guess that it has a problem with the html (which isn't totally standards compliant).

I assume Linksbox can handle css & javascript?

I am not even sure what "XBMC with Linksboks" is.......EWA should render correctly in IE and FireFox.....probably most other standards based browsers as well. They need to support CSS and javascript and be able to have cookies set......

Well, did a quick check and neither CSS or javascript is supported.
Too bad, but maybe now that it's about to get integrated in xbmc, development will speed up a bit.
Anyway, thanks for the info!

UJB,

Can you let us know the cookie(s) to save, I run crap-cleaner (CC) on a regular basis and my nice blue defaults always go back to the original theme. If I tell CC to ignore (or not to delete) those cookies then it should fix this reset issue for me.

It should just be a cookie named the same as the site your are accessing.....for instance....my GBPVR EWA host machine is on a machine named den (internal network name).

I have a cookie on my remote pc's called den and the settings are in there.

Let me know if this is what you were looking for.
