I've successfully updated my EPG data from SchedulesDirect to GBPVR v1.0.16, but I have a problem. The station ID space in TV Guide is cramped and doesn't show the channel numbers.

WABC, for example, reads: WAB
-------------------------- C

Rather than:--------------WABC
--------------------------- 7

(ignore the dashes)

Is this a GBPVR or SchedulesDirect problem, and how can I fix it?? Thanks.

change the following gbpvr\config.xml

<TVGuideChannelHeaderType>0</TVGuideChannelHeaderType>

I believe you want it to be "1", not sure though.

I've tried changing the referenced config.xml value from >0< to >1< (and other values) without effect. The station names are still cramped and lacking channel numbers.

Try the new PVRX2.exe interface rather than the old GBPVR.exe interface.

You just run the PVRX2.exe application instead of the GBPVR.exe application. The GB-PVR 1.x installs creates icons for both apps.

I tried to run that.. I click on it and it just sits there... doesn't load. Why do you suppose that is?

OH I grabbed the patch and put it in... Thanks.

Why do suppose the numbers don't show up?

Thanks, sub. As usual your advice is timely and extremely helpful. Loading PVRX2 yielded an immediate fix. Newbies of the world salute you.

dude, what video card do you have? If PVRX2 isnt running for you, your videocard may not be up to the Direct3D requirements of this new user interface.
