Can you run FilterCheck then attach the resulting FilterCheck.log: http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=1...ostcount=6

I re-installed all the drivers again and I don't get that error. Now it works with analog tuning and recording. I'm sending the log file though. Thanks.

zaphod7501, Yes I tried just splitting my Cable (QAM signal) to both inputs, I get all the analog channels, but not QAM or HD from it. I know I can get ATSC from an antenna, but not the QAM from cable.

I had to RMA my HVR-1800. I'll try again when I get it returned.

Having had a good chat with the Hauppauge guys about the HVR-1800, I cant see any reason it shouldnt work, so if you try it and it doesnt go then post the logs and I'll take a look.

They did indicate a small subset of early HVR1800's arent capable of QAM.

I was referred to this thread by someone over at avsforum. I made a post detailing that my HVR-1800 would not detect any QAM channels using any program I tried, including WinTV 6. I made sure I followed the install procedure to the T, and did so several times. I tried bypassing my coax cable splitters to make sure the signal was noise free and strong enough. Nothing worked and I cannot receive QAM channels, even though I know for a fact that they are present. I have no problem receiving and recording analog channels through the analog input.

I just wanted to chime in and let you know there are others having the same problems. Now at least I know it's probably an issue with the HVR-1800. I will be contacting Hauppauge tomorrow to arrange an RMA.
