I hadn't installed a new version of GB-PVR in a while and I'm having some issues getting the new version working.
Whenever I start up the computer, the old program comes up (or at least the UI). I'm not sure how this is happening as there isn't anything in any startup folder and I unistalled the old version and deleted the folder entirely. I think that whatever remains of the old version is causing problems with the new one.
I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling a few times and followed all of the instructions on the website.
Some of my specific problems include:
1)The remote doesn't work. I have a 150 with the standard Hauppauge remote which doesn't work with the Direct Access box checked or unchecked.
2)Enabling plugins doesn't seem to add them to the main menu.
I'm trying to change all of these settings from the GB-PVR Configuration Tray Icon. The Config can't be completely separated from the correct version, because changing to the new xmltv service updated the new version correctly.
Sorry for the long post for what might be a simple fix I'm missing, but I can't figure it out. Thanks for any help.
