I saw something similar in the forum, but no solution. I pick a program to record from the TV guide. When I go look at the Pending recordings, the Station and Time are correct but the program title is wrong. When I go to watch the program after the recording, again the title is wrong but station and time are correct. When I select the recording and go to the screen to select play or delete, the date, time, station and title are all wrong, but it is the correct program recorded. And to make it more confusing, it does not do this all the time. I just selected a program to record and it looks fine in the Pending recording. Any solutions?

Running 1.0.16 with an MVP.

There was a couple or other posts about this, but I'm still waiting on more people to post decent logs and show info/times so I can look into it.

Mine has not acted up since I did a complete reinstall/rebuild. I have tried for days to reproduce the problem , even recorded crap I didn't want. So far so good.

Yes this was happening to me. I have not seen it occur again. I think the patch that sub supplied in the other thread solved the problem no real issues since then.

I had this happen when I did a one time recording of a show I already recorded. The original recording had a glitch in it. I didn't delete the original recording and did the one time recording for exactly the same show at a different time. I am wondering how I can change the title so I can give it a name that means something.

I have had the same issue after upgrading to v1.0.16
I also signed up for Schedules direct at the same time. All was flawless until the recordings ended up with the wrong titles. It seems that anything that is scheduled for "today" will have the right title/filename but if I schedule recordings a day or more in advance it will be inaccurate. I uninstalled GBPVR all together and started fresh with version 1.0.16 and am still having the same issue. Running WinXP Pro.

possible note: if I view the TV guide, then exit to the main menu and leave it for a few hours. Then select TV Guide again, the guide will be in the position it was in those few hours earlier, only when moving the directional pad will it refresh to the current data. is this what is happening with the scheduled recordings? The TV guide doesn't update it's current time data unless requested by the user so the recordings take the name on the Guide at the time when the user last viewed the guide?

It has also happened to me quite a few times, but I forogot to get the logs when it happened. One thing I did notice the last time is that I set it to record a show that was going to be on in a few minutes. I went and looked at the pending items and it already had the wrong name. I deleted it, added it again and it got the same wrong name. So the summary is that when it happens it is consistent and that it also is wrong from the time you set the recording.

I'm going to try and get the logs next time I see it happen.

Does it have something with setting the programs as reoccuring.Seems like I went in deleted all my pending recordings and strated over after patching and it worked fine.

There was a patch I posted that I'm fairly sure would fix this, but I cant for the life of me find it at the moment.
