Sorry, your logs dont quite go back that far. Close but not quite. They go back to 2007-10-16 21:57:19.328, but the first uses of a capture card after that are you PVR150.

at 21:50:19 there are some errors referencing BDA in the config.exe-native-3 and config.exe-3

Good spotting.
Quote:2007-10-16 21:50:19.968 VERBOSE FindFilterByName failed to locate filter: Silicondust HDHomeRun Tuner 1011D3BC-0This is saying you've added a definition for your HDHR in your bda.ini file giving the name "Silicondust HDHomeRun Tuner 1011D3BC-0" but no BDA filter of this name was found on the machine. People that have had this in the past have either had a typo in the "1011D3BC" part, or havnt installed in the HDHR BDA drivers correctly.

That's odd because it was working great up until then and I from the error I was getting when trying to get to the scan channels screen, I thought it might be driver related too. But the VLC player worked just fine. I even ran thru the driver installation again.
Could it be this channel messed it all up? SubmitTuningRequest(T:11,11,1~P:1~V:49~A:52~PMT:48~N:>11.1 Unknown1 (000(AC3))) Initially when i was mapping the channels to the EPG, if I clicked on this channel in the preview area, the config app would lock up. I let it sit there thinking it may eventually come back but after a few minutes i killed the task. After that i made sure not to accidently click onthat channel in the preview and got everything mapped fine. If i view that channel in VLC, it just says no data or somehting like that.

Quote:But the VLC player worked just fine.VLC doesnt use BDA drivers, so that doesnt show that your BDA drivers are in a functioning state. I'm 100% positive that what I said above it correct. We've been through this exact same thing with other HDHR owners numerous times. I'm sure Whurlston will turn up a little later and be able to tell you what needs to be done to fix your HDHR BDA drivers. Quote:Could it be this channel messed it all up?No thats fine.

Oh okay. I didn't know that about the VLC player. I'll keep searching on silicondusts site too and see if i can find anything. Thanks for your time. Atleast the PVR is back to working with the two PVR150s, that's what's most important right now

What sub said is correct, VLC will not use the remapped channel number that the BDA driver does. It does look like it's a problem with your driver install.
Run the "HDHomeRun Setup" and make sure that the two devices listed on the left both have green check marks. If not, Right Click and choose "Install". I will download the latest drivers and make sure that no filter names have changed.

I double checked and the driver names have not changed. Can you run filtercheck.exe and post the log and also your bda.ini entry for the HDHomeRun?
2007-10-18, 02:48 PM
HDHR setup showed both devices with green check marks.
I'll run filtercheck (does that come with GBPVR or the HDHR software?) tonite when I get home. Does changing the tuner priority within the GBPVR config app edit the bda.ini file? I found these threads on Silicondust's website: http://www.silicondust.com/forum/viewtop...ight=gbpvr http://www.silicondust.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4090
