After multiple attempts to get GBPVR 1.08 working and several days searching the forums here I'm still having no luck.

My card works fine with the Pinancle software, great reception on all the channels I'd expect to get. I have installed the latest BDA drivers from pinnacle and the card is detected by GBPVR (although the name doesn't match exactly with any of the 3 names I get in device manager).

I've used XMLTV GUI to import Radio Times epg data and I have a channel list in the GBPVR config, yet when I scan for channels, no channels are found. GBPVR is definitely detecting a signal while scanning, as indicated by the strength and quality numbers.

What could be going wrong?

I've attached my logs.

The device never manages to start, and instead returns this error. Maybe it's in use elsewhere in the system (other software)?

Thanks for the quick response.

I have been closing down the pinnacle software before loading GBPVR, but I'll try completely uninstalling it and see if that helps.

Ok, I've uninstalled the pinnacle software and terminated all the processes I didn't recognise before rescanning. It's a fairly recent and clean XP install, so there shouln't be much software that could interfere. Still no channels found though. I've attached the new logs.

Sorry, but the device is still refusing to start.

Ok, any suggestions as to what to do about it?

Anyone got one of these working correctly?

No, I'm not really sure what to suggest.

I've rolled back to the original drivers and still no channels are found.
This is particularly frustrating as I bought the card because the WIKI said it was supported by GBPVR.

Having it in the WIKI just means some one else has confirmed it worked fine for them in the past. I dont personally own any Pinnacle devices, so have never tested them myself. I mainly focus on Hauppauge devices.
