error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

This is the error I'm getting. I had a previous build and it did the same thing. I have a pvr250 in a cuv4x MB. I'm not sure whats going on. I can not find this error anywhere. This card and software worked in my AMD pc great as a test but not on my intel. So far on this system wintv, showshifter and cttv all work but I think I was most impressed with gb-pvr. Could anyone give me an idea of what might be wrong.
I'm using GBPVR09010.msi and I tried 0908 before that.
Thank you, Damon

Not that I can give you a solution, but I guess the guys that can would have an easier job to find your problem if you could provide more details. Do you get the error during start-up or is it happening after a while? On which page where you on and what link/button did you click?

Update. I can do a manual record from the main menu and both record types from the tv guide. I can't watch live tv anywhere in gb-pvr still. I also can play the recording fine, suprisingly enough.
Two times I also got this message. Hope someone has some ideas.
No capture-source was available to enable you to watch the requested channel.
Thanks again, Damon

I got it to work in overlay mode. It seems DX9 is the problem but I have it installed with my ati 9600xt. It seems fine with DX9 on other programs. Any ideas to get it to work with dx9?
Hope this trail of error messages helps others to troubleshoot their problems.
Thanks, Damon
