Video Cards Newbie

Hi this may be very simple but I'm a first timer and haven't even set this up yet.
I've been reading up on video cards and all seem to have a way to get the video into the PC, but none seem to be able to get it out to the TV.
Am I missing something?

I'd like to use GB-PVR to record the shows I like but play them back on the TV not the PC.

Can someone tell me if this is possible?

Video in/out are typically two differenct devices. You use a video capture card to get video into the PC (like a Hauppauge PVR150 etc). You use a videocard with tv out to get video to the TV (like an nvidia 6600 etc).

So if You have these two cards you would in theory be able to record and watch the same program delaying live tv etc.?

Yes, if you had multiple capture cards then you can do this.
