Program F9

Sorry if this is the wrong forum, I would like to program F9 to do the same as choosing DVD from the main PVRX2 menu, alternatively if I have missed the key that does do this please let me know as I have missed it!.

Sorry, unfortunately its not possible to add this feature by changing some settings.

no but you can use F1-F8 if you want...
[default F8 is recordings screen]
in config.xml there are definitions of 'default plugins' so you can put DVD as default for <DefaultPluginRecordings> to have dvd on F8..
[you'd have to re-assign the key for recordings if you want to still use it]
can also be done with the others in that section

Next question, is there a short key for mute? I don't have a mute button on the keyboard I have

You could try Ctrl-M, but it might not work depending on how your audio is setup.
