Hi there,
Yesterday, I installed GB-PVR 1.1.5. This is the first time I've used GB-PVR. When I try to watch live TV, GB-PVR reports:
"No Signal Detected. Please ensure that the antenna cable is connected or that the antenna signal is strong enough. Quality: 0%. Strength: 100%".
However, I know for a fact that the signal is fine. I live within a few miles of our local TV transmitter (Crystal Palace, London). Both MediaPortal and Terratec HomeCinema are able to show TV without issues. Even stranger, GB-PVR plays the channels fine whilst it's scanning for channels. GB-PVR finds all the FreeView channels during its scan.
Also, when I go to the TV guide, the guide lists no programs (but the channel names are correct). I have run the "update EPG" from the GB-PVR config menu. MediaPortal was able to grab the EPG from FreeView DVB-T without issue so the EPG is definitely being broadcast.
I have searched the forums and found that a few other people have had similar issues. I've tried several things, all to no avail:
* I've tried upgrading my TV tuner card to the latest, beta drivers
* I've tried various different decoder settings in the GB-PVR config menu
* I've tried changing the <BDADisableStatusChecks> option from "false" to "true" in config.xml
* I've tried re-installing GB-PVR several times.
* I've tried watching TV in MediaPortal first, closing MediaPortal and then watching TV in GB-PVR
My specs:
* WinXP32 SP2 (with NET2.0 and the 2005 Runtime update)
* GB-PVR 1.1.5
* Terratec 2400 dual-tuner PCIe DVB-T card
* Dual-core AMD processor
* 1GB RAM
Any hints would be really helpful!
I'll post some logs in a follow-up post...
Many thanks,
Jack
