I use it all the time. Just press 5-Skip to jump forward five minutes.

If its not working for you, what type of file are you playing? If it was a recording you made yourself, what capture device did you use?

Hi Sub,
I am using the file that was recorded with GB. My capture cards are Hauppague PVR 150 for both PCI boards.

The way I would use the skip is via the MVP remote.

What can I check?

Thanks

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

When you playback recordings, do they report the correct duration?

To get the recording length, pause the recording and then press the blue button on the remote a couple of times to display the length at the top of the screen. If the total length is not the correct amount of time then you'll need to update your Hauppauge drivers to correct a bug that hoses the timeline (and thus skips).

The recording usually indicate the correct duration however, I will check the length of the recording again.

Which logs do you need and where can I find them?

Thanks

They in the gbpvr "logs" subdirectory. Include all logs that start with MVP.

Sub,
This happens when viewing recorded shows on the computer monitor. Using pvrX2.exe

Here is part of the log:

The length of the recording seems correct.

You can ignore those lines.

Zip and attach the MVP logs and I'll take a look.
