This would be sweet if i get the stations to come in properly.

So here's the basic run down.

I am at college hooked into the colleges customized feed they get from comcast, which only includes certain channels. I have gone to zap2it.com and chose the basic comcast cable package for the area that I live in(Harrisburg, Pa). Then i have gone through that cable listing and modified the channels to only have checks by the ones that we recieve here at school.

Then I went into the GB-PVR, ran the tuning assitant and brought in all the channels to the config area where I have changed the channels to the same number channel as they are on our cable system here at school . For example, my college recieves ABC on channel 3, but from the regular comcast package which i am bringing in from zap2it, abc is listed as channel 4, but on the other hand both my school and comcast cable have cbs setup to be channel 2. Which cbs works perfectly on my pvr machine, but I am having troubles getting the actual stations to display onto my tv that are not the same channel number between the two places(such as the above example of abc). How do I step up the channels that are coming in from zap2it to correspond with the channels that i recieve here at school, or is that not the problem?

Any insight would be apperciated. Sub you are amazing, thanks for such an excellent product

You could go into the registry and enter the channels and their frequencies manually, here's my channel list - and yes, the frequencies are displayed in hex, but you enter them in decimal so don't panic! :-)

I have found this to be the absolut fastest and most accurate way to get my channels into the system with as little flaw as possible. This means you can map ABC to the same number as zap2it says it is = no additional mapping required.

the TS0-1 space is for custom channels.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\TV System Services\TVAutoTune\TS0-1]
"AutoTune"=hex:50,00,00,00,74,22,1b,26
"18"=dword:0931ab10
"5"=dword:0a6e49c0
"6"=dword:0ad91980
"7"=dword:0b43e940
"11"=dword:0cef2840
"95"=dword:0fdad680
"98"=dword:111b45c0
"99"=dword:11861580
"92"=dword:0e9a6740
