Hi, Newbie, here.
Have just got GBPVR (1.1.5) up and running, plenty of tinkering to do, but it all seems to be up and running ok - can watch, record, playback etc. with no problem
However, I've also tried setting up a client on another pc, and have a problem with video playback of recoded shows. It is very jerky, will play ok for few seconds, then pause, then play again ok, then pause etc.
The files are MPEG2 files created by GBPVR, using the Cyberlink 5.0.0.1307 mux.
I can play them back fine on the same PC using WMP11 or VLC.
(Streamed TV is also an issue on the client- totally unusable, but I'll leave that issue for now)
OK, PC spec isn't great (it's mostly used by the kids), but I've not had any video issues before
1 GHz P3, 512MB RAM, Matrox G400 16MB video card, 100MB/s Ethernet.
I'm going to try swopping out the video card for a newer one from another machine, once I get the time. But any other suggestions would be helpful
Thanks
