[b Wrote:Quote[/b] (sub @ Feb. 19 2005,15:24)]Do you have any idea what I might make wrong? I reregistered my mpgmux.ax in the directory windows/system32 but this also did not help.[b Wrote:Quote[/b] ]Can I set them up manually in gbpvr?Nope. I allways get the error corresponding to 0 found channels. Helpless Jui

I think I have the same problem as Jui.
I'm running XP pro SP2, Nova-T (909). I've installed technotrend BDA drivers (Version 4.4.9.15) and Cyberlink mpgmux.ax (5.0.0.1230). I have an xmltv epg.xml file linked and GBpvr lists the channels OK. When I hit map digital channels to EPG channels I get ************** Exception Text ************** System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Â at ConnectFilters(IBaseFilter* pFilterUpstream, IBaseFilter* pFilterDownstream) Â at NativeUtilities.BDARecorder.StartRecording(String cardType, Int32 board, String filename, IntPtr hwnd, String tuningRequest, Int32 lnbLOF1, Int32 lnbSwitch, Int32 lnbLOF2, Boolean previewMode) Â at NativeUtilities.BDARecorder.StartRecording(String cardType, Int32 board, String filename, IntPtr hwnd, String tuningRequest, Int32 lnbLOF1, Int32 lnbSwitch, Int32 lnbLOF2) Â at Config.Plugins.BDAChannelMappingForm.d(Object A_0, EventArgs A_1) Â at System.Windows.Forms.Timer.OnTick(EventArgs e) Â at System.Windows.Forms.Timer.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr idEvent, IntPtr dwTime) *********************************** I normally use Technotrend 2.17g drivers for the Nova-T, and I get all channels and no reception problems. I noticed that the file used is 0068.ini for both this and GBPVR. GBPVR has [TERTYPE] 1=Borders and Northern England 2=Bilsdale [DVB] 0=6 1=C34,578167,0,0,8 2=C21,474000,0,0,8 3=C31,554000,0,0,8 4=C24,498167,0,0,8 5=C27,522167,0,0,8 6=C42,642000,0,0,8 The technotrend package has [SCAN] 1=MHEG-5 2=LCN [TERTYPE] 1=Borders and Northern England 2=Bilsdale [DVB] 0=6 1=C34,578.000,0,0,2 2=C21,474.000,0,0,2 3=C31,554.000,0,0,2 4=C24,498.000,0,0,2 5=C27,522.000,0,0,2 6=C42,642.000,0,0,2 I put the technotrend file over the GBPVR one, but it had no effect. Any ideas ? I'm stuck. Just thought - I wonder if using Bleb makes a difference. Tried it - it doesn't.

It doesnt actually look like it gets as far as reading your transponder file. Its crashing earlier when its failing to connect one of the BDA filters.
Email your logs to me at support@devnz.com and I'll take a look.

OK.
Sent you the logs and got your email reply. Thanks. You said "You currently have it set to a Nova-T (909), but dont have the BDA drivers installed. You need to download and install them from http://www.technotrend.com/english/downl...nload.html ". I have previosuly downloaded BDA-driver Version 4.4.9.15 (01.12.2004) (0,42 MB) which is "bda_MCE2005_new.zip" and I within the zip I get : 34CoInstaller.dll TTCap46n.sys TTCap46n_W2k_XP.inf TTFEDVBn.sys TTFEDVBn_W2k_XP.inf tthybrid.cat TTHybrid.inf TTHybrid.sys I have right clicked on the .inf files and selected install. I'm not sure what else to do. The dll doesn't register. Sorry to be such a pleb. Maybe I should email technotrend, but if you could point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it. Oh, I tried putting them in the GBpvr root dir, but it didn't help either.

You need to uninstall any non BDA drivers you already have installed for this hardware, then in the Control Panel run the Add Hardware wizard to install the new drivers.

Hi gents,
maybe I am stupid, but are these Technotrend BDA drivers the correct drivers also for the newer Hauppauge Nova-T 90002 cards? And do I have to deinstall any original Hauppauge drivers and software and install the Technotrend BDA drivers? Greetings Jui

Thanks for your patience sub.
I realised later on that I had been stupid - I'll just blame too many late nights. Anyway, I updated the driver from device manager briefly earlier and it did find channels. When I get some more time I'll finish the job of linking them in and try live TV from the main GBPVR app. Thanks again.

I have the same nova-T card - I am using the Hauppauge Drivers downloaded form their web site - I don't think I have been anywhere near Technotrend software.
With just the drivers installed most of GB_PVR works - to get the IR controller working you need to install some of the other components (I don't thing installing just the IR software is enough). Regards, Paul

Jui,
You don't need seperate BDA drivers for Nova-T 90002, they are part of the main software. See Hauppauge forum here You may already know this ? JUIDUI=JUI ? Scooby
