'Play All' in Music Library ??

Thanks for the suggestions but sorry, I dont intend to make any further changes to the Music Library in the near future. It already does the basics I wanted. If you need more substantial features then you'll need to look into the various music plugins.

Is there any way to skip to the next track for now, or is that something that's coming back eventually in pvrx2?

It still the same as it has always been - you can use the skip forward/back keys on your remote to skip between tracks. This is available in any place the skip keys arent used for something else (for example, lists use them for page up/down). If you try it from the main menu it should work. Pretty much as long as a list isnt highlighted then you should be able to use these keys.

I love the new Music Library function. I allways use random so for me it is (almost) complete. I'm happy as it is.

The thing I would like and is almost the same as the current functions. Instead of selecting a folder and press play I select a playlist.m3u and press play. When it starts playing it is not random but allways the same listorder. It would be nice when I press Play again that it will shuffle the content of the playlist.m3u and starts playing again of when I press play the first time it shuffle the content. For me that is the same...

I use folders but sometimes I make a playlist.m3u for a dinerparty or something else. I select several songs from differtent folders and put them in a playlist.m3u. Shuffle would be nice...

It seemed to me that this might work in the Photo library also, so I had a go...
I downloaded the pvrx2.exe to my gbpvr directory - now when I try to open any of the libraries, screen flashes and returns to main menu. Log shows

System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'file:///C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\Interop.IWshRuntimeLibrary.dll' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
File name: 'file:///C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\Interop.IWshRuntimeLibrary.dll'

pvrx2 running on PC client, blue skin, extra plugins unchecked in config.

It sure did - and in Photo Library, shortcuts to .jpg's do display properly in the library structure (filmstrip and thumbnails) but they don't work in View Picture or Slideshow...

I wonder how much work would be involved for sub to propagate shortcut recognition further down the chain? I've got thousands of family photos going back 35 years and the ability to play a slideshow from shortcuts would be really nice.

Hi Sub, just installed 1.29.1 - another fantastic release with heaps of useful new things, thanks. Especially like the new MusicLibrary features - means I can finally ditch MediPortal which I was driving from PVRX2 as a music player.

An earlier post in this thread said there would be a the config setting to turn Shuffle off, on the Play All feature (I prefer to just play albums rather than shuffle them) - is this available yet and what is the setting?

You can set <AutoShuffleRecursivePlay>false</AutoShuffleRecursivePlay> in config.xml if you'd prefer it didnt shuffle. If your file doesnt have the setting, then just add a new line for it.
