I'm using the Hauppauge MCE Remote and it's setup with HIP. I used the config files found in the WIKI. I'm have a WinTV PVR USB2.

Everything seems to work ok except for the remote in the menu. The up and down arrow seem to be double clicking. I've found a post that said the remote settings in gbpvr need to be set to the default. Even after doing that I still have the same problem. It only seems to be the up and down buttons on the remote.

A different problem is the system menu. The pie graph isn't showing how much hard drive I have left. Is there a setting that I'm missing?

Sorry, I've never used HIP so I'm not in a good position to provide advice on this one. Hopefully someone else will be able to help you though.

If you a forum search for the words "performance counters" then you should find some info on repairing you machine performance counters.

Are you using the original MS drivers for the MCE remote or the alternate driver? I think I read somewhere that with the original driver you could get repeated keys. The driver sends one command and HIP sends another. Have a look at the FAQ

Cheers

Thank you both.

I've read the info about only using HIP and removing the other driver and everything seems ok now.:o

I don't think I'm going to worry about the WMI problem. It's sound like I need to do a reinstall to fix it so I don't think I need the pie chart right know.Sad

Again thank you both.
