Hi All
I'm trying to set up an old PC i've got as an HTPC. I've got a Hauppauge Nova-S-plus DVB card and am running Win2000.
After fumbling my way through the setup, I've got GBPVR up and running and detecting all the New Zealand freeview channels. I get a picture a picture in the preview window and sound. So far so good.
Problem comes when I try to update the EPG. It starts scanning OK and counts down from 60 seconds, but when it gets to 1 second it just stops and does nothing.
I've tried changing just about every setting I can find that looks even slightly related, but all to no avail
My next problem comes when I try to view live TV. I get sound OK, and the channel logo and info, but no picture.
I've tried just about all the recommended codecs, but still nothing. I get picture OK in GGPBV when using overlay manager, but in any other mode or in PVRX2 there is no picture.
Same thing when trying to view videos in the video library - no picture only sound.
I'm guessing its a codec conflict, but how do I tell which one is at fault??
Attached are my logs
