I think the bigger the TV, the worse the picture is going to look when using the same resolution. Â Like viewing a website @ 800x600 on a 15" monitor looks great, but when you view that same website @ 800x600 on a 21" monitor, it's grainy and blocky looking. Â If i recall correctly, the medium setting uses 720x??? for the resolution... so it looks pretty nice on my 19" FD trinitron screen in my office, but on my 36" Sony WEGA in the living room it's OK... but almost no difference between the recordings and the picture direct from my Dish network box to the TV. Â No fault of the GBPVR, just nature of the beast.
