ATI 650 Pro working for anyone??

I just updated to gbpvr 1.0.8 and most issues with the ATI 650 + my nvidia card seem resolved. (Thanks for the link about the nivida card).

I'm now using the system default MPEG decoder and the VMR9 custom renderer.

Thew new PVRX2 interface is also very nice! Great job!

Hey everyone,

So ive been reading through the forums trying to get the dual tv working watching one an recording another but im not having any luck with the digital side of things. I got the analog to work no problem. When I Map Digital Channels to EPG Channels it doesn't pick up any channels while it is scanning for the digital channels. All the HD and Digital channels are show up in the list. Another thing is when I have all the EPG udated shows up with over 200 channels but then when it does the scan it only shows that it is scanning 68 channels. Not sure about that one either. Any help with this would be great also sorry if I ask any dumb questions new to this whole thing.

I could be wrong, but I'm fairly sure this device only has one tuner so you can either use analog or digital, but not both at the same time.

Do it again, then zip and attach your config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

This is normal. OTA digital channels are transmitted on physical channels 2-68. The channels found may not match these channel numbers though. For example, physical channel 60 might be carrying 3 tv channels, each with a separate channel number.

Hey sub thanks for the help yeah ran the map to digital again and nothing still here are the logs. Let me know if there is anything else you need.

Also forgot to ask you im having a lot of trouble with my epg only showing channels for a short time period then nothing and i will update the epg but nothing happens.

Hit the 'Update EPG' button in the config app then zip and attach the config.exe.log and I'll take a look.

You're using an antenna right (not digital cable)? Assuming so, have you seen the device tune in any channels in other software?

I am using digital cable sorry should have specified but i have also hooked up my hdtv antenna to the ati 650 unit and did not pick up any channels either way. Using the analog setting I have been able to get channels to show up but the quality is poor. I live in the city and antennaWeb.org says I only need a uhf to pick up digital and analog stations.
