Hi, How can I apply a thumbnail picture for each directory?
In the picture you see an empty blue box so I suppose it is to display a thumbnail.

Second, how to display some small description of each directory?
I made a textfile with same name as folder but I can's see no description at all.

Any help would be glad
thx

folder.jpg/png for the folder thumbnails, and folder.txt for the description.

Hi Reven,

thx for your quick reply, but i did what you replied.

I placed a picture with same name as the folder in the root directory where all the sub directories are stored.
Same with the text file. But i see no result of it.
Note: if I scan the thumbnails in the database, I see ofcourse also the pictures for the directories. maybe I delete them manually and see if it works then

I also did for my Videos, that seems to work pretty good.

Regards

Johan

no i mean the name is actually the word "Folder" its a windows standard thing so if you have a folder called "D:\My Pictures\" use the image "Folder.jpg" and description "Folder.txt". sorry for the confussion.

I was also initially confused witht the folder.jpg/png and folder.txt naming convention. Any potential for just taking a random jpg/png from the folder as the thumbnail as opposed to having it specifically called folder.jpg/png?

Hasso
