I've ran into a snag trying to update my EPG using the Schedules Direct EPG source method. I've been using this method previously but after shutting off my PC and restarting it after being gone a week I've found it no longer works. I've checked my login/pw about 15 times and while they work on the schedules direct webpage they aren't working in the "create capture source." Below is the error I'm receiving...

Your EPG source does not appear to be configured correctly. Please check the EPG source Settings and try again.
System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized. ....

Again I've used this method previously and my login/pw work on the schedules direct webpage....as well as using I-xmltv. I'm assuming this is something really simple that I'm overlooking. Suggestions?

If you PM me you username/password, I'll check if your account does the same thing for me.

Your supplied credentials seem to be pulling in the listings fine for me.

If you try creating another capture source does it work?

I've tried that a few times with no luck. =( I'm starting to wonder if I may have overwritten a driver or something? :confused:I swear this was working before I went home for X-mas. When I got back and turned everything back on it wouldn't update....I'm totally at a loss.

If I recall, the pull from SD requires that you enter the uid/pwd in lowercase regardless of what the webpage login accepts

It is all currently in lower case so I don't think that is the issue. Although I'm all for a really simple solution like that!

Can you hit the 'Update EPG' button in the config app, then zip and attach the config.exe.log?

It definitely looks like Schedules Direct doesnt like the username/password you're using.

You could try downloading xmltv from http://www.xmltv.org and try running that.

Yeah - I have i-xmltv installed and I can probably monkey with that some. The snag is that it was updating the xml file but it wasn't updating within gvpvr. Every morning I'd get up and have to mess around to get it to reload things properly. I had actually went back to the schedules direct to avoid that problem. hehe. Maybe I'll just delete everything out and start from scratch again.
