Is it possible to remap keyboard/mouse commands? (especially for GBPVR.exe, not PVRX2.exe). For example, change volume with up/down keys, and change channels with left/right keys?

Another question is if it's possible to tweak the skin (again for GBPVR.exe, not PVRX2.exe) to utilize higher resolution than 720x480. I tried to change the screen size and positions in the skin definition file, but it only pushed the original UI to the upper left corner of the screen.

You can change some keyboard actions in GBPVR.exe with the files in the 'keymappings' subdirectory, but from memory not any of those specific things you mention.

The mouse behaviour is not configurable.

PVRX2.exe has much better skin handling and will automatically handle any reasolution, and auto handle widescreen setups. GBPVR.exe was much more limited in this respect. That said, you should be able create a skin with a different resolution, as others done in the past. You will need to change a lot of values in nearly every skin.xml though.

Also, most people found that GBPVR.exe was to slow if you tried using skins over about 800x600 though.

As warning - dont get too attached to GBPVR.exe. It has reached the end of the road, and will most likely not be included with the release of GB-PVR.

I do want to use PVRX2.exe. I found its UI more appealing and usable. The problem is my system (AMD64 X2 2.0GHz, NVidia 6150 on-board graphic) is somewhat underpowered to watch HD channels using PVRX2 no matter which video renderer I choose - slightly choppy with VMR9 full screen renderer, sometimes choppiness build up, sometimes PVRX2 just terminates, sometimes system hangs. Actually I don't understand why GBPVR can do that (though with the choice of overlay) but PVRX2 cannot when it comes to just watching Live TV at full screen.

Any chance that the source code of GBPVR can be open? Well, maybe not...

Most things I've read say that the recommended minimum for high def is an nvidia 6600. All I can recommend is trying different video decoders, and also sticking with VMR9 FSE.

That said, there is a couple of things in the next release which might help.

Sorry, no chance.
