New user, new installation (1.4.7), new computer (Vista 64 SP1 Pentium dual core E5200, 4 GB ram) dedicated to media center use.
Finally got the latest version installed and working, mostly satisfactory, except that intermittently, the wireless USB devices stop working. I've got a Diamond "All-in-Wonder" setup which comes with an IR remote, one with a green button, so I've supposed it's an MCE remote. It works with GBPVR without any other plugins. I also have an IOGEAR long-range keyboard/mouse that I use with the computer.
Several times over the past couple of days, I've had to restart the computer when trying to change sources. The MCE remote stops working (can't get to menu to exit), although the receiver is still seeing a signal (well, it blinks). At the same time, the keyboard/mouse stops functioning, so I can't do anything other than a hardware restart. It's more of an annoyance than a real bug, but it's happened often enough that I figure somethings not wired in quite right.
Per the "guide" I'm posting logs for expert review.
I'm otherwise absolutely delighted in the performance and features of the package, and appreciate all the hard work that's gone into bringing it to this advanced stage.
