Hi sub,

when starting GBPVR.exe, the 'System' task of my W2kSP4 system consumes about 100% CPU time.

Same here W2kSP4 system 100% CPU usage. No errors in the GBPVR log file. First I did upgrade from .22 to .23 -> system 100% CPU usage. Then I did clean install still the same. I even disabled every plugin except "Exit" but nothing helps.

Hi Guys... Sub and I found this during beta testing... it's a problem with your black.mpg file. All you need to do is delete the black.mpg file and copy any other .mpg show into your gbpvr directory and rename it to black.mpg. I used a 30 minute southpark show and it works great after that.

Sub has a other black.mpg that I'm sure he will share since it sucks having a 1.5 gig file in your gbpvr directory all the time... but it should get you going for now... Let me know how it works out for you guys... [Image: smile.gif]

The release does include the black.mpg that fixed the problem for you davisj36. He is probably right though. Try replacing that file with an MPEG2 file you already have on your harddrive.

Hey Sub... I had to recopy the one from my old gbpvr direcory into the new one to get it working (I had the 100% cpu thing for the last few per release and just keeped copying the one from the zip file you sent me)... The good working one is around 6 megs and the old one is around 2 megs... I could be wrong... I'm just guessing [Image: tounge.gif]

Yes, you're right it should be about 6mb. The one installed is 2mb, so I'm not sure why that updated file hasn't been deployed. Can you email the right file to me and I'll upload it to the server. I'm at work, so dont have access to the file.
