I go into TV Guide, find Shockwave on History Channel on Friday at 9pm, hit OK on remote, go to Record button, hit OK, then choose "this weekly timeslot and channel". It creates a recurring recording on HISTP from 9pm to 9pm in the mini display, but when I select that recurring item it says the show goes from 9pm to 10pm. In Pending, it doesn't show the 1/11 or 1/18 show.

Reproduce the problem then zip and attach the PVRX2.exe.log and I'll take a look.

attached. I have the recurring recording of "this weekly timeslot and channel" for Shockwave on History Channel. It shows 9-9pm. I have no shows in Recordings, can you check to make sure that's also correct and let me know how to do it myself? I'm pretty familiar with gbpvr.db3 file and using SQLiteSpy.
SearchWizX2 shows a green icon by one of the shows, which means Already Recorded. I did have 5 shows recorded in the past, but I deleted them all recently.

When you scheduled the recording, it searched for episodes with the same name. It found a few, including some on the 11th and 18th, but these were skipped because these matched shows with the same unique identifier that was already in your ready or pending lists:

Why does it say the recurring recording is from 9-9pm?

Because it is a timeslot recording it shows the allowable period it will look for shows with the correct title. Normally people would see a three hour window listed (ie, original start time +/- 90 minutes), but you've changed the <AllowableTimeslotVariance> setting to zero, which means it'll only pickup shows with that title that start at exactly 9pm.

That makes sense. I did change <AllowableTimeslotVariance> to 0. I still don't understand why it would catch any recordings of Shockwave, considering I have none in my Recordings list. I looked at the PROGRAMME table in gbpvr.db3 and there are no Shockwave entries.

The could also be in the PREVIOUS_EPISODE table, having been recordings you deleted recently.

How can I know which ones are Shockwave, since there is no way to tell by the data available? Or can I just delete them all?

Some of the shows in that history info will have the Schedules Direct show identifiers. Its hard to tell which ones unless you have other Shockwave shows in your PROGRAMME table. The start part of the number would be the same.

You can delete this history info if you want.

You can also set the GB-PVR to not keep this history if you dont want it. There is a setting in config.xml for "retained days" or something similiar. I'm not home to check the exact name.
