DVB Subtiltes - Works on some

Ok, I giving my DVB card a another go to. Had to let the family actually watch TV at xmas!
I've sorted most of the probs out, but I'm having prob with certain channels not showing subtitles. I believe that the actual DVB subtitles bit is broken and not fixed? However, here is something interesting. I can pull in Discovery from Denmark, Sweden and Norway. (3 different channels) All are in English with either Swedish, Norwegian or Danish text. Problem is Norwegian text does not show.

Here is from my BDA cache showing Discovery Norway (N) and Discovery Sweden (S) channels

I believe that the ~TXT:301 bit is the code for Norwegian Text??

Any idea why Swedish Discovery works and not Norwegian? BTW Swedish text works regardless of DVB Subtitles be enabled or not.

Sorry, DVB subtitles has been broken for a long tome. It might return in the future, but I cant say when that might be.

Its important to note that these are not "DVB Subtitles". These are "Teletext Subtitles" which are a different thing altogether.

OK, thanks. I thought as much. Still find it strange that some dvb subtilte show and some don't. I'll try and get some info on what is different on the channels.

Ok, I'm here now! It defently looks like that Swedish, Danish, and Finnish Discovery have the subtitles in the actual video before going out to the satellite, whereas Norwegian is sent plain but with the subtitles sent in the stream, i think. I get the same behavior in Dvb dream.

I would, but I'm not taking on extra work at the moment. I've got my head down working on stuff for my day job before a deadline at the end of January.
