Hauppauge IR Blaster & DirecTV Top Box Woes

The title pretty much says it all.

I have a Hauppauge PVR-150 with the silver remote and IR Blaster. I have been using the remote with GB-PVR for about two weeks recording over-the-air broadcast programs. I now have DirecTV hooked up to the pvr-150, and I am trying to get it to be controlled by the IR Blaster program. The brand and model is RCA D10(you should be able to find it at any BestBuy or Circuit City). I have gone through all of the set codes to no avail. I even tried the most up to date program version with no success.

Has anyone been able to get the particular model to work with IR Blaster?? Also, I have tried moving the IR transmitter around over the set top box IR receiver spot with no success too. It's really bugging me that I can't get it to work.


Any help will be appreciated.

EDIT: The newer version of Ir Blaster Config can be downloaded HERE. It is apparently not up on their website yet. BTW it doesn't work any different for me than the other version...no go...
