Would really appreciate any help with these.

I have my HTPC networked with my Macintosh laptop. Is there any way to have my HTPC automatically update itself with the music/pictures on my mac? Maybe have a folder that syncs with it or something?

I am having a problem with motion blur. It seems to be only apparent in sports (presumably because of the fast game speed). It is pretty bad though. Is there any way to fix this? I hope it isn't my hardware. My CPU is a 3.0GHz P4. My video card is a GeForce 8500GT. My tuner is a PVR-500. I have 2GB of memory. That should be enough to display video properly shouldn't it?

Again, any help with any of these questions would be greatly appreciated. I know it's a lot of question and I'm trying to solve them myself, but I have found it hard to find resources with GBPVR info on the internet that pertains to my specific questions.

Thank you

Assuming you have installed the latest version 1.1.5, have you looked at the survival guide in the support section section of the forum.

For instance, this patch from the survival guide might be the answer to your Play All problem.

You should be able to find out something about your other problems by searching the forums...

Yes I noticed that thread after I posted. I went through it and fixed all the problems I could from it and updated this thread so as not to include those problems anymore. I guess it didn't update in time for you to see it, however. Sorry.

Also, I think I am close to a method of automatically syncing music. Just working on automatic cleaning of Mac trails. The real problem I have is the motion blur with sports.

Appology not required - crossed posts happen all the time...

Glad you got some of you problems fixed...

Re your motion blur... you might like to provide some more detail... is it happening with live TV or recordings or both - which multiplexer and decoders do you have set in the config app - etc

It occurs on both live and recorded T.V. My decoder is kind of tricky. The only way I can get GBPVR to work is to install SageTV and then install GBPVR and use system default video decoder. So I believe SageTV sets my system default decoder to it's own decoder and then GBPVR uses that. I'm not sure what a multiplexer is. The rendering is done by VMR9.

As far as decoders are concerned, it seems generally better to explicitly select a value for the video/audio decoders and the audio renderer on the Playback tab in config rather than leave them as 'Default' ... playing with these settings can get good results...

The only options are default and "MPEG decoder". If I choose the MPEG decoder, I get a black screen when trying to view video.

I'd try intalling another decoder - I'm currently have a mx440, with the intervideo decoder and getting decent results for F1 using the "high quality" setting (capture sources->Recording Source Settings)

I don't understand how to install other decoders. When I've tried to install them in Windows, they haven't shown up in the GBPVR config program.
