I cannot Record Series, only Quick Record.
Any ideas?

If I got to Record
Recording Type: Record Season (All Episodes)

Nothing happens - it does not get highlighted in Red or anything.

But! If I go to Quick Rec - it highlights in red.

Reproduce this, then zip and attach the pvrx2.exe.log and I'll take a look.

oh one more thing. I noticed I had a bunch of Pending Recordings and Recurring entries. I deleted them (same symptom - no Record Series, only Quick Record starts it recording).

I am wondering therefore if there are still some pending recordings causing this problem?? How can I clear EVERYTHING? Fresh install - or is there something more sophisticated I can try first?

Most of the episodes of 'The Office' werent scheduled because you've already got them in your 'ready' list, or you've deleting them recently.

If you dont want it to skip recordings, disable the 'dont record duplicates' setting in the config app.

thanks sub. But how do I clear everything out so "Record Season (All Episodes)" works normally?

I cleared everything out of Pending and out of Recurring yesterday...

hmmm "PVRX2.exe -removehistory" seems to leave everything intact in Pending Recordings.....
