This problem seems to be in PVRX2, it works fine in GBPVR.
Version: 1.1.5

Unlike REW and REPLAY *AKA PREV SKIP* They both work independently.

Ctrl+D = REW = 10 seconds
Ctrl+Left Arrow = REPLAY = 30 seconds as it is in playback tab.

Ctrl+F = FF = 10
Ctrl+Right Arrow = Forward Skip = 1 minute

But FF and Forward Skip are the same. They both jump 1 minute ahead. FF seldomly jumps 10 seconds but I have seen it do it once in awhile. They seem to be obeying the set skip time in playback. I've changed it to 10 seconds and both jump 10 seconds.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Wait for a later update. This is one of the things that is not (yet) implemented on the pvrx2 interface.

Edit: - it may well not appear it seems. http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=2...ostcount=7

edit, edit: I misread your problem..... For me, the hop and skip are different at around 10 and 60 seconds.
The usual problems with these timings are faults in the timebase of the recorded file - for NTSC PVR150's and my nemesis, the nova-t-500

Well, I'm glad you got it sorted.
What's with the Linux?

Hans

Slackware, CENTOS 5, and ubuntu laying around. But I got lazy and didn't have time to whip out the developers tools to fix it myself. Getting called into work sucks!

Anyways it def. a problem with PVRX2 and its not a timestamp issue.

GBPVR functions fine, all the controls work fine.

But then you start up PVRX2 and the Crtl+rightarrow and Ctrl+F are bind to the same command. So not only do they both skip one day ahead in the guide but also 60 seconds ahead on a dvd playing and 60 second ahead in the recordings.

Ctrl+F is suppose to be FF which should only skip 10 seconds ahead, jump to the next 2 hours in the guide.

The controls are screwed up.

I've just double checked here and Ctrl-F jumps 10 seconds, while Ctrl-Right jumps 60 seconds, which is what I'd intended it to do.

Do you definitely have 'use short skip instead of FF/RW' enabled in the config app?

Does the time line show the correct duration when you're playing a video file? Does pressing these two keys result in the timeline reporting the current position as exactly 60 jumps, or is it some other random values?

Yes I have 'use short skip instead of FF/RW' enabled in the config.

Its also doing it in the guide skipping ahead one day in the guide. Very annoying if I only want to go 6 hours down.

I have seen ctrl+f skip 10 seconds ahead at random moments or consistently until I hit ctrl+rightarrow then they both skip 60 or whatever is set in the playback tab.
