resume on My Videos not showing with EVR

Worked here too, but... while watching a recording and I press the 'Home' key to get to the Main Menu doesn't work.

This feature isnt supposed to work with EVR, and I've made sure its disabled in the next release.

Its not possible to mix Direct3D and EVR graphics. The Direct3D stuff tries to draw over the top of the video, making a horrible mess. To avoid this, the video playback needs to fill the entire window, and the direct3d menu drawing needs to be disabled while video is playing.

I just ran into the resume window hidden issue tonite... i'll download and install the patch you put in this thread.

With regards to the issue with hitting the Home key... do you plan to make a compromise to bring this functionality back? ...either temporarily disabling the D3D menu during this process or taking the video off all together? My household has grown to love that feature... hitting home to take a look at recordings and such during commercials. Even if no video was displayed just audio was playing, that would be good enough for us. Smile

There isnt really anything I can do about it. There is no way for me to have video and menus displayed at the same time on the screen unless I'm using a Direct3D renderer (VMR9 Custom and FSE). If you need this functionality you have to stick with one of these VMR9 renderers.

Would it be possible to have an option in the config.xml file to disable/enable the home key?

If I was to take out all the video insets in the skin files, would that allow this to work in EVR (only hearing audio) while moving about the menus?

I have no idea. Try it with your current release.

Nope that didn't work. Just get the flicker of the main menu coming up, then back to the video.
