Sorry if I'm missing something obvious, but what's the difference between GBPVR and PVRX2? I have GBPVR mostly working, even though I don't yet have a capture card, but when I launch PVRX2 I just get a (transparent) blank window and the application hangs. What should happen?

Regards to all,
Mark.

GBPVR was the old user interface that hasnt been enhanced for nearly a year. It was replaced with PVRX2.exe. The old GBPVR.exe will not be included with the distribution for much longer.

Several users with older nvidia card got exactly this with PVRX2 and found they needed to upgrade to newer nvidia drivers.

Thanks for the super-fast response.

I have a VIA S3G onboard video. I just upgraded to the latest driver but now I get an error, "Sorry this system does not support the required VMR9 render." It worked before with GBPVR :-(

I tried changing the Playback Configuration settings but still get the same response. Do I need to buy a new video card? If so, what are the minimum specs?

Regards,
Mark.

Yes, you most likely need a new video card. Most video cards made in the couple few years will work fine (nvidia/ati).

OK, thanks for the advice. I'll go shopping.
