And can it be told not to? I'd like to use the Hibernator which is activated as a screen saver, but have noticed if PVRX2 in full screen (no FSE here) then the windows screen saver is not activated.

Is that a configurable setting? I turned off the pvrx2 screen saver since I saw messages to the effect of "Stopping screen saver to activating" and don't see those messages again, but still the windows screen saver wont come on.

To be honest, I cant remember the details around what the app does when the windows screen saver tries to kick in. If you bump this thread on Monday, I'll be back in NZ and will take a look.

Will do, I've started leaving pvrx2 turned off and that seems to activate the screen saver - it's only the the first time after a restart as once hibernator has been initialised then it stays running in the back ground, but with pvrx2 running, it never gets kicked off.

Hey sub. Have you had a chance to look at this?

I just checked. It'll only stop the screen saver from kicking if you have the GB-PVR screen saver enabled.

That said, if you were using fullscreen exclusive mode, I'm not sure if windows will even try to start the screen saver.

Hmm, that's probably my problem then. Looks like hibernator isn't compatible with GB-PVR in FSE Sad

FYI, when I use PVRX2 in full screen and leave it for a while the PVRX2 screensaver comes on, then if I leave it even longer the Windows screen saver comes on also.
