I was wondering if anyone could help me....

I have a Hauppauge nova-t 500 dual digital tuner and it is working great in gbpvr all apart from one channel (SBS)

When i scan for the channels it picks up SBS and even displays it playing in the little preview window until i click on another channel then go back to SBS and then GBPVR hangs and need to be killed and restarted.

So even though it finds it and will initially display it in the preview window, itwont work at all after that. It gets guide info for all channels exept SBS and will not let me change to SBS (it just hangs when i try).

I have tried rescanning the channels with different options and with both tuners and still exactly the same result.

The channel scans and works fine in Mediaportal.

Has anyone come across a similar issue or have any suggestions? It's really very maddening as this is the station we watch most.

Thanks in advance!

Try to watch the channel in the app, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Logs are attached, thank you so much.

A bit of an update...

I went and rescanned again and now when i go to SBS it doesnt hang but it still wont go to the channel, it will just sit there frozen on the channel I just changed from untill I hit back.

The time you are looking for in the logs is about 0709, I think this is the relevent bit..

For whatever reason, your device seems to failed to lock onto a signal, so no data is ever delivered for playback. If it gets a signal lock, those values would be something like "63ms (1,1,..."

Is this something I can maybe manually tune?

Could it be that i need btter reception to that channel?

Thanks!

To be honest, I'm not really sure what to suggest.

It might be needing better signal for that channel.
