HELP.... ATI TV Wonder USB setup

Hello,

I am new to the application and the world of PC PVRs and I need some help.

I have an ATI TV Wonder 600 and can not get it to work with gppvr. It works with the supplied ATI Catalyst application, but that is a resource hog and would rather use this application.

Can anyone shed some light on what I need to do to get it working?

I'm fairly sure this device doesnt have the required hardware MPEG2 encoder, so isnt usable in GB-PVR for analog TV. You can most likely use it digital ATSC tv, but you may need to add a section bda.ini to get this going. Let me know if you want me to help you through that.

ok so can I use the cable from the wall to the usb card and have it work with gbpvr?

If that cable is attached to antenna on your roof, and you're in an area that receives ATSC transmissions, then yes.

If that cable is connected to a cable network carrying regular old analog channels, or QAM digital, then no.
