Hello sub,

Attached are the logs you suggested I post from NetworkedMediaTank:
Quote:a. I've gotten a "video source" (fake-ATSC), Program Guide source (5 day trial of Schedules direct), No channel changer.
b. I then went to schedules direct and created an account, finally figured out how to add the video source coming into my house (subscribed lineups) and the channels I watch out of those.
c. Got GBPVR to download this channel info from SchedulesDirect into the database.

Well at least I can poke around and look at videos/pics/audio on my PC and use the "Search Guide" within the interface to see shows by alpha and brief descriptions...however for some reason the TV Guide (the grid) crashes the interface. Perhaps it wants to talk to the nonexistant recorder card.

Right off the bat I see that you aren't autostarting an mvp server and you are using the DVR-MS mux. You might want to review the install instructions.

The guide problem looks like it is caused by not having any enabled channels in your capture source. I'm pretty sure if you go into your capture source settings you'll find all your channels were disabled. It automatically disabled them because you didnt go through the channel scanning and mapping procedure.

If you want to create a fake capture source so you can see the TV Guide in action, you'd be better to create a capture source for an analog card like the 'Hauppauge PVR150'. It wont matter that you dont actually have one (ignore any warnings about it not being present). It will of course fail if you attempt to record anything, but you knew that. Channels on an analog capture source wont be automatically disabled like they are with a digital capture source that hasnt had the scanning/mapping performed.
