Converting

I have found that my mpg files are gynormous. I have set my autoconver to run for about 4 hours, and I have set it to convert to Xvid. I do have the xvid codec installed on my pc, but I've been waiting for 3 days and noting's converting.

What gives?

Are you talking about the built in xvid conversion stuff? If so, post the GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log files and I'll take a look.

Can you post a log that also shows a recording occurring?

I havn't tried to record anything since I set up the autoconvert because I don't have the room. Thoses are the only things I've recorded since I set up the machine. I was trying to convert them to make more room. Does it have to be a new recording to start the converting process?

It'll only convert recordings made after you enable the setting.

But they arn't listed in my video library, only in my recordings, and if I go into recordings there is no transcode option.

If they exist, then they should appear in the Video Library IF you have the recordings directory setup in the Video Folder in the GBPVR config | 'Directories'
