GBPVR fails to record back-to-back shows on same network.

When attempting to record two shows on the same network that run back-to-back, GBPVR records ~200MB of data and then sits idle. The tray app will remain green and the status will say it's recording the first show for as long as I leave it alone (i.e. don't reset the recording service). The resulting dvr-ms file is not playable.

Padding is set to 1 before and 5 after.

So far no issues with back-to-back shows on different networks.

I'll attach log files ASAP, but I wanted to throw the question out there in case it's obvious to anyone.

To be honest, I'm not really sure. It looks like you recording service logs just stop mid stream, like someone killed the process or it crashed. If it crashed you should be able to find a message indicating that in the Windows Event Viewer.

Spot on. The tray app and other utilities appeared to be functioning, but it looks like there was indeed a failure with .NET about 3 minutes into recording.

It'll be nothing to do with it being back to back.

It looks like it got some garbage data that the psiparser filter couldnt cope with. Its next to impossible to guess what that might be though.

Huh, ok. I'll keep an eye on it and see if I can spot any other patterns besides back-to-back recording (it's not a dedicated HTPC after all). If so, then I'll repost.
