This has been driving me nuts for a few months now and I finally decided to fix it. Usually I can find a fix here already but no luck this time. Here it is....While watching a program either recorded or live I cannot return to the root menu unless I press stop. This used to work fine, in fact I'd see a small screen of the program I was watching while scanning through the guide. Any answers?

I use a hauppauge 45 button remote. The menu button works fine unless I'm watching a program, running PVRX2 v1.2.9

Does the 'home' key on the keyboard work?

Does Ctrl-B show you the OSD?

Home key does not work. Only stopping the playing program with the keyboard or remote will return me to my menu. I've renamed the directory and reinstalled and that solved my problem, repairing the install did not work. Sorry but I can't tell you if ctrl-b would have worked. I'll let you know if I run into the problem again. Thanks for your time and fantastic program.
