The video output onto my TV screen is enlarged and I could not adjusted it back to within the screen of my TV. When I tried to resize, the picture itself is actually cropped off. Since it's a CRT TV, I can only set the resolution to 480i. The setting on GBPVR is set to 4:3 and so is the STB. Could not figure out what is causing the picture to turn out this way.

Has anyone seen this problem and had resolved it before?

It'll either be your video card produce a picture that is too big, or the TV has too much overscan.

You can try compensating for it in GB-PVR by tweaking the following settings. Increase all four if the picture is going off the screen on each side.

<!-- overscan control (border size in pixels) -->
<OverScanBorderX1>0</OverScanBorderX1>
<OverScanBorderY1>0</OverScanBorderY1>
<OverScanBorderX2>0</OverScanBorderX2>
<OverScanBorderY2>0</OverScanBorderY2>
<OverScanVideoAlso>true</OverScanVideoAlso>

What are your windows display settings? I found I got the best performance (and picture fit) when my display was set to 640x480.

800x600 also works, since that is 4:3, but I figured why take the performance hit (minimal though it may be) when the television can only display 480 lines anyway.
