DVB-T tuner problem

This MyCinema U3000 tuner used to work fine but I tried it again today after a couple of weeks and I keep getting an error popup every time I try to use it. The error box says "An error occured (sic) during playing the AVI file: The data is invalid (0xd)". I have to kill it from Task Mgr.

The logs concern a config source digital mapping attempt around 2232.

Unfortunately I cant see any errors in those logs. Its a bizarre error message though - are you doing anything with AVI files at the time? I suspect you've got some bad directshow decoder on your machine that is causing this.

Thanks for looking, sub. I couldn't see any glaring errors, either. No, doing nothing with AVI files (to my knowledge!!). As you say, seems as if some other decoder has got added somehow. I'll keep looking.

Talk about lucky! Went into graphedit, not really knowing what I was going to achieve, and was amazed by how many directshow filters there were. But my eye fastened onto a Logmein decoder (racodec.ax) and as I had recently updated Logmein I thought it might be worth renaming the codec. Bingo

Now for the hard part - how do I keep both Logmein AND the tuner working??? The codec is in the Logmein program dir. Any ideas folks?

Ah, stupid me. I uninstalled the Twinhan software by mistake, thinking it was the Tuner's MyCinema software. (I had noticed software called WinManager' installed and it looked a bit scary hence the uninstall).

Twinhan now re-installed and now all works again. Sorry for wasting your time, sub.
