QAM won't work with HVR 1600

Hey everyone, new to these boards and new to the whole DVR thing. I am trying to get my HVR 1600 card to find QAM channels on the comcast cable. I only have the basic cable package and I know I get free QAM channels on my HDTV but my card will not pick up anything.

I have the latest drivers and I have tried the multiple QAM.INI files posted on here. No such luck getting the QAM channels to even detect.

Also even WinTV has issue detecting but once I set the settings to All Channels in WinTV then it picks up TONS of QAM channels.

When you set up the capture device, make sure you select the one with "QAM" in the name. Scan for channels, then zip and attach your config*.log files. If there are any frequencies that you know contain QAM channels, post those frequencies as well.
