I doubt it would help you, I'm in the UK with a Sky box and redeye blaster.
It's only a two liner. First one sends the "sky" button - this is the only key that will startup the STB from standby that isn't a toggle on/off.
The second line just sends the channel numbers as normal.

Funny, it didn't seem to work for me. Maybe it was someting in the script. I do have it working beautifully, though.
Thanks to all for your help!!Big Grin

Could be quite handy to have something that could be scheduled 1 minute before a recording starts. I'm currently using a pc in the garage to record Freeview HD but as it only has a 20GB hard drive I'm recording to my Lounge PVR pc across the network. The problem is if I have standby active on the lounge pc it won't record - Currently I've disabled Standby on the lounge pc but it would be cool if I could send a WOL from a batch file from the Garage pc when its due to record - I don't know if the current methods would be quick enough - in my experience it takes about 5 seconds to wake from Standby and start responding on the network and from what I've seen if the garage pc can't start writing straight away it doesn't retry until I restart the recording service.

Once my 2nd Nova-T 500 turns up I'll be going full HD in the lounge pc but I'll still have the garage pc recording Analogue for Prime so I'd still quite like to be able to wake the lounge PC at recording time.

That works in IR Server Suite also!! I had already set up the select command, so all I had to do was add "s" before the channel and it works!! Is there some kind of way to pause the channel.exe to give the STB a chance to catch up? It seems to work fine, but I want to get insurance. I have been looking for this for like 2 months, and I only had to add one letter to make it work. Can you guys like cure world hunger too?

YES~ simply add any unmapped letter before or after the mapped letter or even after the {chanel} if you have extra commands to send after a channel change. one letter adds a slight pause so you can easily add the right amount to give your stb time to do what it needs.

TIP - if you have unreliable channel changes I have found that if you add a space and 1600 after all the commands the channel change is flawless and 99% reliable. you can experiment by changing that frequency + -

good luck

Quick question? Where is recordingstatus.bat documented? I've searched the wiki and I'm looking at the forums now. I'm probably going to just create a file with that name in the gb dir and swew what happens.

EDITED:

OK not taking the blame on this, I did search and I couldn't find it, only talks about the only plugin that may use it.
