I been using the latest version and I notce that after a while ( a movie or two) the menu's seem to get choppy. it does this for all the skins and closing and opening pvrx2 does not seem to fix it. I noticed if I change a skin then the menus are swift again even if going back to the community skin or any other.

Not sure what to think of it. it is the only thing stopping me from that hardware dedicated cable unit PVR feeling.

GeForce 7350LE
3ghz p4 ht
1 gig ram

running at 800x600
but can run much higher res with no problems with menu's until time lapse as noted

I am using the NVIDIA Video decoder.

I may be wrong in my above post...

it looks like I can easily recreate the choppy menu's simply by closing PVRX2 and opening it again.

I use VMR9 and Full Screen Exclusive

I used to always think it was my computer so I wanted to reboot more often to get the menu's flowing again

but now that I stumbled upon this solution it leads me to believe it may be something hard coded,

I am kinda hooked on the eye candy of some of the skins and fading menu's and the only way to fix the problem for me is to pick another skin then the menu's flows

if I close pvrx2 and open it again the menu's are choppy. If I go to the "settings" menu in PVRX2 and pick a different skin the menu's are fast and fade in and out etc....

what video card do you have?

wow the menu's look beautiful when they fade in and our properly...

i'm on xp but see menu's fade in and out.

now i want to know if anyone here makes more cool effects lol. I have to admit I like the themes sub added as I was using community skin before with my own background. The Vista skin is neat too. Thanks sub for including them

I have some Vista emulated software stuff on here so I wonder if I play around with that maybe I can get some swishy effects in PVR

that would be awesome

Yeah, this happens to me as well. Started with pvrx2.exe. Mine won't go away even if i restart the app. Has to be a reboot in order to fix it.
I am using the community skin, so not sure if that's what's causing it. My machine is on 24/7 and it usually takes a few days before I see it.
Video card is an old nvidia mx4000
