dirkomatic Wrote:jksmurf: Using your IP address, this script should work. If it doesn't there's more going on here than the script...... Nope ... I copied and pasted, rebooted the PCH, nope. I then copied back the orig (OLD) scripts I pasted above, ran telnet (from the new index.html button), which ran script.cgi and started telnet on port 23, then ran GBPVR button which ran gbpvr.cgi perfectly. Using Power Button, File Button on the remote made it exit correcttly and I could Browse Files again.
I'm sorry, I really don't know what is at work here with the new script ...
dirkomatic Wrote:Forgive me if you've already answered this, but are you running index.htm from a USB drive or a share? If you are running from a share, you'll have to create a mvpmc directory at the root of your share and put the cgi scripts in there...That's OK, I'm just frustrated :-) It's a share and the structure is as attached. I think I asked about a million posts back what the root was exactly, so do let me know if I have this right (it should be OK as it works with the old scripts). The folder that is shared is mvpmc. The mvpmc FILE in teh dir is the Hauppauge MVP equivalent of mvpmcx2. I took it out for testing as I thought it might be having fun with the mkdir command, but no joy !
Any other thoughts :o?
k.
btw the png's are in the mvppch folder. I edited Index.htm to reflect this and the button's show nicely.
