I'm trying to set up the bda.ini file (and anything else that's needed) to work with a terratec cinergy xxs, I've tried filling in the settings using graphedit to detect the filters but after I choose the adaptor in the Recording source settings box it didn't find the adaptor when I try to perform any function.

This is my current bda.ini entry:

[Cinergy T USB XXS]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER=Cinergy T USB XXS Digital Tuner (Dev1 Path0)
FILTER_CAPTURE=Cinergy T USB XXS Digital Capture (Dev1 Path0)
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

and the appropriate section from graphview is attached (the line above the current view is the BDA Receiver component

could anyone guide me as to how I can make this work?

Thanks

It looks correct. Can you try doing the 'map digital channels to epg channels' step, then zip and attach the config.exe-native.log file?

It errors and says it was unable to start the configured BDA device, then throws an exception See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

I've attached the log file too

Its saying this name is wrong:
Quote:2008-07-10 21:40:37.202 VERBOSE FindFilterByName failed to locate filter: Cinergy T USB XXS Digital Tuner (Dev1 Path0)

Can you run filtercheck.exe from the gbpvr directory, then zip anda ttach the filtercheck.log that gets created.

Try:

[Cinergy T USB XXS]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER="Cinergy T USB XXS Digital Tuner (Dev1 Path0) "
FILTER_CAPTURE=Cinergy T USB XXS Digital Capture (Dev1 Path0)
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

It now scans for channels so I presume it works, thanks

Great.

I've added it to the master bda.ini as "[TerraTec Cinergy T USB XXS]". Its probably best you rename yours to match, otherwise you might have problems when you install the next version.
