Hi to all of you out there!

I just want to ask whether any of you has a Terratec Cinergy C PCI HD working with GBPVR (this card it the successor of the Cinergy 1200 DVB-C).

I tried it once (maybe 3-4 months ago) and failed. So before I start again I want to evaluate how good my chances will be this time.

Thanks in advance.

Hi again,

i'd like to put my question in other words:

Is there any
  • argument
  • card feature
  • issue
  • lack of ???

why this card can not work with GBPVR?

Regards

I'm not aware of anything that would stop it work. The best feedback would be from someone that had actually used one though....

Hi Sub,
hi together,

I gave it another try. But it does not work.

What I did:

The card was not detected automatically by the config tool.

So I altered the BDA.ini file according to the wiki (http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Hardw...aptureCard) to get the card to the drop down list.

I can choose the card now but as soon as I try to scan for channels I get an error message.

I attached the log files. Maybe you can see what's going wrong.

Thanks for your help.

Hi. Did you get the card working?

I have the same card and it doesn't work for me as well. After altering the bda.ini file and configuring the card, when I try to scan the channels I get " unable to start the BDA device you have configured" . The card works fine with DVBViewer.
I have a HVR-4000 and this one works in GB-PVR.

Any help will be very appreciated.

thx

I missed this post (was out of the country around that time).

It looks like you got the filter names wrong in the bda.ini section you added:

Post the section you added to bda.ini, and I'll take a look. Also run filtercheck.exe from the gbpvr directory, and attach the filtercheck.log that gets created.

Hi.

Here the section I added to BDA.INI:

[Cinergy C PCI]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-C
FILTER_TUNER=Cinergy C PCI Digital Tuner
FILTER_CAPTURE=Cinergy C PCI Digital Capture
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport

and attached the filtercheck.log.

Thx for trying to help me....

The names look ok there. Can you try scanning for channels, then zip and attach the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

BTW, in the capture source settings the device number should be #1.
