Recording Only New TV Episodes

Still playing with that Ultraxmltv but so far that combined with the do not record duplicate option seems to record only the new shows.
Now if I could only get it to record episodes no matter what channel they are played on I would be all set. Thanks to everyone that has helped so far!

Are you setting only the * for new shows option on the title? I've also just started with UltraXMLTV, and I've got the * option set, but I'm also running UltraRenamer, and I have to admit, I'm not totally sure what effect it has, or whether it affects recurring recordings in any way. The Titles I see have been enhanced with year info and other data. If you have any tips, feel free to pass them along. I have recurring recording set up now for the title* shows and not the episodes without an *. Combine that with do not record duplicate options and it records the first showing of an episode very nicely.
as for the reprioritizing, I cant figure it out using a keyborad. I have a remote at home that I'm going to try and see if it works. At the bottom of the screen it says use the yellow button. so we'll see if that works.
